BEST ANSWER: Mine is an above ground pool that has 13.000 plus gallons. We are running the 200 (206?) btu on natural gas. We had a 150 btu heater originally. I only have 3/4" line into the heater (which should have 1") but my heater guy said that as long as you are under 100' of run to the meter (we are about 75') it would be fine and it has been.
